When Thanksgiving and Christmas come around, many people start thinking about Cranberry Sauce.

For some, the canned gelatin is the best thing next to sliced bread.

But if you are anything like me, you want something a little fresher and more flavorful on your plate.

And this Cranberry Clementine Sauce is one great option!

Easy to Make Homemade Clementine Cranberry Sauce

Simply combine fresh or frozen cranberries with sugar, cinnamon, clementine juice, and a few more flavorful ingredients.

Simmer everything together until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.

Once chilled, it’s ready to eat.

Serve cranberry sauce with turkey

Homemade cranberry sauce is a delightful dish to serve with turkey.

And it’s especially yummy when you add in some clementines, or tangerines or other citrus.

We like the clementines for their sweetness, but other oranges are good too!

This Cranberry Clementine Sauce is a great addition to your Thanksgiving dinner.

But it tastes so delicious, you may want to double or even triple the recipe to make sure you have enough.

Once people taste how sweet and flavorful this is, they will want to eat it by the bowl.

In fact, it makes a great holiday dessert, too.

It’s so good, you may never buy one of those jiggly cans of “cranberry sauce” again!

Is a clementine a tangerine?

Clementines are a type of seedless tangerine that is sweeter than a tangerine.

Clementines are in season from November to January in most areas.

There are a lot of similarly sized citrus fruits like clementines, tangerines, and mandarin oranges.

If you prefer smaller pieces of citrus in your cranberry sauce, you can then also cut the strips crosswise to make the pieces even smaller.
