Anna Kendrick’s Golden Globes Hair Style was Polished Elegance
At the 74th Annual Golden Globes Awards, Anna Kendrick’s hair says polished elegance. It was perfectly smooth, particularly with the recent rains in Southern California which is no small feat.
Anna’s style was created by stylist, Craig Gangi using products from John Frieda. Craig was kind enough to share how he created Anna’s look for us here at The Awesome Muse so you can re-create the look for yourself at home.
Craig Gangi’s Inspiration for Anna’s Style:
Anna’s Grecian gown from Vionnet inspired Craig to give her a more polished, sleek look that would show off the one-shoulder silhouette.
I have some major gown envy with this dress, propecia, and Craig’s styling choice was perfect. The lines from Anna’s hair to her dress flowed in harmony.
How to Re-Create Anna Kendrick’s Golden Globes Hair Style
Craig provided simple, step-by-step instructions on how to get a sleek look. He makes it so easy. Note that Craig used John Frieda products to help him achieve this look for Anna.
Next, apply John Frieda Frizz Ease Straight Fixation Styling Creme on damp hair and then blowout the hair straight.
Use a rat-tail comb to create an extreme side-part and pull the hair behidn the ears. For extra smoothness, flat-iron the top of the hair from roots to mid-length.
To prevent any fly-aways and frizz, finish by applying John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Touch-Up Creme on the hands and comb through the hair.
